Metallurgical principle of submerged arc furnace
The basic task of submerged arc furnace production is to extract useful elements such as metals from ores or oxides.
The chemical reaction in the production process of the submerged arc furnaces is mainly the reduction reaction of oxides, and there are also oxidation reactions of elements.
The basic principle of SAF is based on selective redox reaction thermodynamics, the essence of which is that the oxide of the desired element reacts with the reducing agent to form the oxide of the desired element and the main element in the reducing agent.
Composition
The submerged arc furnace is an industrial electric furnace that consumes a lot of power.
It mainly consists of furnace shell, furnace cover, furnace lining, short net, water cooling system, smoke exhaust system, dust removal system, electrode shell, electrode pressing and lifting system, loading and unloading system, gripper, burner, hydraulic system, submerged arc furnace transformers and various electrical equipment and other components.
Submerged Arc Furnace Water Cooling System
The submerged arc furnace water cooling device includes a water supply pipe, which is connected in series with the return water tank, return water pipe, cooling tower and water supply pool through pipes.
The water supply pipe is provided with multiple water supply branch pipes, and the return water tank is provided with return water branch pipes. Electronic flow meters and electric contact pressure gauges are arranged on the return water branch pipes, and a return water tank cover is arranged on the return water tank.
The new SAF water cooling system produced and supplied by Xi'an Hani closes the return water tank, sets electric contact return water temperature gauges and flow meters in each return water branch pipe, and transmits the return water temperature and flow signals to the submerged arc furnace control system, when the flow rate of each pipeline is small or the temperature is too high, an alarm will be given.
In addition, the water in the return water pipe in the utility device is directly returned to the cooling tower for cooling, and the diameter of the return water pipe is one-third of the diameter of the return water pipe in the prior art. The entire water cooling system device can save one water pump and one return pipe. For pools, water supply energy consumption can be reduced by one-third.
