Then determine the geometric parameters of the electric furnace, including electrode diameter, electrode center circle diameter (or electrode center distance), furnace diameter, furnace depth, furnace shell diameter, furnace shell height, etc.

All these parameters are usually calculated using empirical formulas and selected with reference to domestic and foreign production practices.
