Ladle metallurgy furnace, ladle furnace is an important metallurgical equipment used to refine molten steel melted in primary smelting furnaces (electric arc furnace, open hearth furnace, converter), and can adjust the temperature of molten steel, process buffer, and meet continuous casting and rolling.

Operating Procedures

1. Before work, check the interlock protection device of the ladle car and whether the travel switch is safe and reliable.

2. Check the vacuum system, oxygen blowing, hydrogen blowing, heat preservation, heating, feeding and other mechanical parts, and only after confirming that it is safe and reliable can the machine be driven.

3. Check the swatches to see if the swatch remains dry.

4. Check whether the station equipment used is easy to use.

5. Contact the power supply unit and the vacuum control room as required.

6. The bell or other safety signal must be turned on before driving.

7. Carry out high-voltage power transmission and vacuum degassing according to the procedure.

8. When driving a ladle car, the track must be checked and obstacles removed at any time.

9. It is strictly forbidden to pass under the high-voltage line after power transmission.

10. When connecting and unloading pressure pipe joints, the valve must be closed first before operation.

11. When using oxygen, it is strictly forbidden to hold it in front of the chuck, and it is strictly forbidden to wear oily gloves to operate.

12. After sampling, the remaining molten steel should be poured in a dry place.

13. When the vacuum is released, all personnel are not allowed to approach the mouth of the air supply pipe.

14. For inspection and maintenance, when it is necessary to board the heating bridge for operation, the high-voltage key must be dialed out, the high-voltage power supply must be cut off, and the operator must bring the key.

15. When lifting and changing the electrode, a special person should be assigned to direct it. The ring and the hook should be connected with a wire rope, and the hook safety should be closed. It is strictly forbidden to open the three phases at the same time and lift them together.

16. Objects are not allowed to be piled on the furnace cover and the bridge frame, and it is strictly forbidden to throw objects up and down when working on the bridge frame.
