Induction Furnace Melting Temperature

induction melting furnace

In recent years, the intermediate frequency induction melting furnace has achieved remarkable development.

Due to its great advantages, it has quickly replaced coal-fired furnaces, gas furnaces, oil-fired furnaces and ordinary resistance furnaces, becoming a new generation of metal heating equipment.

The development of intermediate frequency induction melting furnace benefits from the use of thyristor inverter.

This kind of frequency converter converts the three-phase alternating current frequency to the required frequency with electronic device through the DC intermediate circuit, and its efficiency is 95%-98%.

The new generation of inverter adopts numerical control electronic circuit to provide various control, regulation and protection functions for the inverter.

Its working frequency is between 50Hz-10KHz, and it adopts IGBT variable frequency stepless adjustment, which can continuously work under load for 24 hours.

The intermediate frequency induction melting furnace has more advantages than the power frequency induction melting furnace because of its high electrical and thermal efficiency, short melting time, less power consumption, less land occupation, lower investment, flexible production and easy implementation of process automation.

Its maximum temperature can reach 2600 degrees, which can quickly dissolve high melting point metals such as platinum, palladium, gold, and K gold.

With the continuous improvement of customer demand, the requirements for furnace safety, furnace lining life and noise are getting higher and higher, and the rationality of the furnace structure is also more and more important.

Therefore, the design of the intermediate frequency induction melting furnace body has many advantages such as strong durability, high efficiency and productivity, low noise, and easy maintenance.

The medium frequency induction heating furnaces sold on the market are advertised as the highest temperature of 2600°C.

However, due to the limitations of current technology and materials, the actual temperature is generally around 1200-2100.

However, this also meets the melting requirements of many metals.

Special customization is required for melting beyond this temperature.

Most of our customers choose furnace temperature requirements in 1650 1560 1300. Different raw materials will also have different temperature requirements.

Please let us know the specific smelting requirements, and we will recommend the most suitable and suggestions to you.
